A heavily modified AMG GT3 Street Car

This is definitely out of my comfort zone. But, what the heck! Here it is. This is my version of the AMG GT3 race car. As always, I like to give all my builds a twist in terms of design and/or configuration. The amg gt3 is no exception. My theme for this build is, that, the amg gt3 was originally a competition car, which was bought by private owner. He decides to tweak the car to extreme to see how much power he can get out of the engine. Hence all the added gagets almost protruding through the car headlights(which of course, were removed to make room for the added accessories). The rear lights were also removed and replaced with netting. The windshield was removed to reduced the weight of the car. New gagets were also added all round and in the internal compartments, of the car. The roof was removed as well as the rear glass. In its place extra support for the protective cage at the rear was added. And as you might have notice, I sawed off the doors as well. The look of the AMG GT3 is bad*ss car. Now, it looks brutal.

It’s kind of a “Mad Max meets James Bond” thing going on there! It looks like you had a lot of fun with this one Charles, and definitely not the way we usually see an AMG presented. I like it!

Thanks buddy.

Charles,
I’m in the camp of race car purest, so this build really took me for a surprise. The Merc AMG GT3 car is one of the main stays of international GT3 racing, so my usual view of the Merc is in absolutely pristine form.

Your build’s concept certainly takes it in a completely opposite direction and focus. As D said, it’s a lot like the Mad Max type of car, stripped of everything and anything not needed to produce the max HP/Torque.

As usual, your skills and concept has created a most unusual concept car. One that’s extremely well done and captures the viewers eye.

Looks pretty amazing Charles. The flat colors really accentuate the rough/tuff look.

Love the tonal variety, of the sidewalk and asphalt. A bit of oil/fuel stains, on the asphalt,(Not from the Marc, of course), would make it even better.

Thanks for your candid support.

Charles,
Just took another long look at your Merc AMG. Still love your concept and execution, but the thought just went through my head how any of the engineers, designers, and “suits” at Merc would react to your model concept. I’m sure that they’ve never even thought that anyone would take their 2016 AMG GT3 car and go in that direction. I’m sure that they’d be passing out the antacids by the handful. :ok_hand:

Hehe! Thanks a lot Joel. Maybe someone should show them my version and see if they might give it a go, just for heck of it. You never know.
