A late war Panther

Although I never quite got attracted to this camo scheme in the past some publication and discussions here triggered my desire to finally make one of this kind.
Lester Plaskitt’s impressive model in AFV Modeller 137 sort of push me over the edge to try one myself.
Reading a lot about the “Battle of the Halbe Kessel” and other very late war the events occurring also helped making this model.
The camo scheme not being as time consuming as many of my “Ardenne Panthers” and displaying some of the late production “goodies” left me enough space to be more fictional in my approach.

Not finished yet my Idea is to put some tank-riders on the deck from mixed units.

Cheers
Christopher

I used the RFM Panther G kit this time with their fender & side skirt set.
The colours are all TAMIYA based mixes with oil washes up to now.
And I used the 3d printed tracks again …

I hate doing the running gears in general and the amount of road wheels on a Panther doesn’t really help .
Here are some of the inspirations :

Great looking Panther. Probably my favorite German Big Cat. Of course, the Leopard is right up there, too.

I really like that camo scheme. Where did you get the pattern for it or did you invent it?
