Trumpeter released a 1/16 Late Tiger recently. Like this one, it claimed to have a “full interior”.
The first time I scanned its sample photos, evaluating its accuracy, I posted "There is so much wrong here that I don’t know where to start. "
I still do not have a full list of its errors on my website, although I normally post such for each Tiger kit. The work involved in cataloguing all the problems of this kit is too much for me.
I suppose it’s possible that they will “up their game” and correctly model the Mid version interior, although there are no museum samples for reference. Possible but not likely.

It’s interesting in its own right but for ~$414, I’d rather buy 8 to 10 new Ryefield Model (RFM) 1/35 kits.
Not ME NO NO NO Not going there any more.

Not when Hobby Boss sells a 1/16 Tiger for less than half the amount.
Makes you wonder if the number of different Tiger 1 kits now exceeds German WWII actual production? (Internet says 1347)
Absolutely sure the numbers of copies far exceeds it, but is that in the 10’s of thousands, or 100’s of thousands - or worse?
Mal
I’ve wondered that too, it might make moderately interesting nerd-esque reading (or the ultimate cure for insomnia) to see kit manufacturers’ production figures for individual kits. I realise that wouldn’t translate into accurate sales figures but still, I’m not aware those numbers have ever been publicised…someone prove me wrong please.
AHHQ are doing a limited re-release of their Tiger 1 so if you arent interested in the interior that is a better option and with the AFV update makes a decent Mid.
Keith
You had me until $414.99
You don’t really want this, just look at the build I just finished a short while ago.
