A week away folks for those in southern UK (or even further afield perhaps):
I’ll be there within the guise of Stonehenge Modellers - if that’s not a deterrent I don’t know what is(!)

My Dress Rehearsal for tomorrow’s show at Abingdon:
Sadly a couple of old warhorses but also my What-If Bundeswehr M103 project and the Soviet never-quite-made-it project the T-74 (Object 450) as work in progress.
Very nice collection !
Well, thanks Sean; my build rate is pretty poor so I’ve had to trot out some old models, but we haven’t displayed that often at Abingdon so hopefully, they’ll present as new.
Great collection there Brian, no doubt they will impress!
Well thanks Richard; I just wish I’d built more new stuff.
Me too- I build at a glacial pace sadly……
Better than mine, I seem to only need to break out the airbrush every 10 years or so.
Chaps, my mate Pete Smith’s report taken from his blog; it was a great show:

Looks like a great turn out for the show Brian, and your models look excellent!
I attended a region armor show in Connecticut this past Saturday and it was outstanding. Brought the wife along (huh???) lol for the trip; only her second show on our 36 years together. It was a great weekend.
Well, thanks very much. However, I tend to come away from most shows dispirited and inspired in equal measure!
For me, it’s the interaction with the modelling public, and the interest they show, which leads to discussion of techniques or even the AFV itself. That’s what makes the show go round - well for me at any rate.
I’m afraid I cannot imagine my wife attending any show ever(!)
I feel the same sometimes- inspiration and discouragement- especially at figure shows because figure painting is not my forte. But I agree with you as well about interacting with my fellow modelers.
Thanks for the report Brian. Nice to chat to you again and it was a great display. As usual your first hand knowledge impresses. I went on the bike to ease parking and try and limit expenditure! Got away with three smaller boxes which fit the panniers. Only downside was while chaining my helmet to the bike so I didn’t have to carry it round, I managed to give myself third degree burns on the exhaust (slight exaggeration!).
Well thanks! That’s very kind; I’m more than aware that my enthusiasm gets in the way sometimes but such is, often, the impetus of the shows or rather the atmospherics.
Far better to incur burns yourself, than to have a model kit melt(!) Only kidding I assure you…
somewhat strange feeling isn’t it ? I’m glad I’m not the only one .
