Hi guys!
Here comes my new “Zero” in 1/48 scale.
A great kit from Academy, somewhat overshadowed by Eduard’s new Zero, but certainly in the same league.
Built out of the box. Only stretchable yarn as antenna wire and cannulas for the gun barrels.
Colors from Tamiya and Revell.
The Display is simply a slate board with a self-printed graphic.
Cheers

I think I like most everything about the build. I am left with a well done and well thought out feeling.

How did you get the prop to be spinning? Did you use a fan?

Same question, but I’m guessing it was the air-compressor

Hi mates!
Thanks for your comments. I’m glad that you like my “Zero.”
DAK and Ed, I used a travel hairdryer for the spinning prop. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a cold air function. So I had to hurry while taking photos to avoid melting anything.
But everything went well, except for pilot Watanabe, who was sweating.
Have a nice weekend and keep your workbenches steaming.

Nice work.
The Zero is a good looking aeroplane in the early war scheme.
I like the base.
