Academy 1/48: Spitfire Mk.XIVc

Hi guys!!
Only now have I noticed that there is a new kitmaker site. :scream:
Thank you, Torsten, for the hint ā€¦ !! :upside_down_face:
For my re-debut, I would like to show you my Spitfire Mk.XIVc in 1/48 scale. The kit comes from Academy and was easy to build. Colors from Gunze and Revell. I painted the invasion stripes. For the seat belts I used photoetched parts.
It was a special project for me because the kit belonged to a friend who passed away last year. He had already started with the Spitfire and now I have completed it for him.

Welcome to the new forum, Stefan! Nice build! Have built this kit many years ago, brush painted. Not half as good as yours!

I second @panzer_modelerā€™s suggestion. Please show more of your builds. Your friends Spitfire looks great. Iā€™m sure he would have loved it.
