I just noticed another shortfall with the Tamiya and Academy M151 kits is that the corner mount for the main antenna is missing the extension that raises the matching unit to a point that the antenna can flex forward with the truck’s top raised. I used some sheet plastic to add the extension on this M151A1, painted in my usual MERDC scheme and marked as my old mount with the 40th Division, 40th MP Company i the early 1980s.
