Thanks Dominic, this was one of my early builds during the pandemic. If you have the same academy kit, I would advise being careful with the length of the two cables to be added to the turret bustle; cut them a bit longer than what the instructions tell you. I remember having to cut another set of cables because the suggested length was too short

Thanks Reynier! I’ve bought some more Magachs since this build and the Meng indeed is a much better kit than this. The only tricky thing that remains is finding the anti-skid method that best satisfies your build. I’d rather do zimmerit honestly haha

i actually found a good way to do it, using AK Interactive’s product.
I used it on my Takom Merkava Mk.2B build and it works like a charm.

Or you can DIY anti-slip with diluted PVA glue and Chinchilla sand (available at any pet store). It really works.
