AFV Modeler: Big Scale MG 42 | Armorama™

Available from AFV Modeler is its 3D-printed German MG 42 machine gun kit in 1/16 scale. Printed as one piece, the kit includes two separate bipod options -- folded or deployed, as well as separate sling fittings should you wish to add a sling.

My favorite Grman weapon of WW2. I’d love to see this, but with that full compliment, including the Lefette tripod, couple cans of ammo and some belts of 8mm.

Not to distract from an excellent release by AFV Modeller, Sol also do an MG 42 in 1/16, as does ET Model. Sol do the complete Lefette tripod. Take your pick!

Lets see one in 1/6th.

Dragon makes very incredibly detailed 1/6 weapon sets. I have their MG42 on a Lafette tripod and it’s beautiful.

Like this one. The set i have has the tripod painted in feldgrau.

Getting back to the original post, that the mg is printed as one piece is amazing, not including the bipod legs. The benefit of the ET one is that you can show the breech open.
