Volkswagen company maybe planning to get into defense business. How about to revive some of Professor Porsche´s idea´s. How about a Tiger III?
And now the continuation.
Volkswagen > Porsche > Audi group etc…have a bit of family history with AFV design from long ago before they were a conglomerate.
From the article I read, Volkswagen may just be allowing existing AFV manufacturers to use unused manufacturing space in VW factories rather than VW doing it themselves. But who knows what’s true or not in these crazy times.
Well the Ferdinand / Elefant / Tiger (P) was a hybrid engine of sorts so would I be ok driving one in the city centre these days or even a Maus?
I know I’d need rubber pads for the tracks though to comply with UK road laws, that may be a challenge.
Rheinmetall is considering re-use facilities from civilian production to increase military products.
Does that mean it’s ULEZ-compliant? Where’d I put that number for the ex-Aberdeen collection?
From Volkswagen to Volkswaffen
This one’s on real tracks. Now all it needs is the turret.
Hmmmm…I wonder if you could fit an '88 in there.

There’s nothing more dangerous than a bored mechanical engineer…
Now I would have experimented with the track gear from a Kettenkrad!
I forgot about Bernie
Who’s Bernie?
Ken
The Bernie the love bug. Isn’t that the beetle’s name?
No, it was Herbie the Love Bug.
Thats it!
