Airbrusher's Thumb

Airbrusher’s Thumb (adjective.) A harmless, sometimes chronic condition experienced by modelers resulting from holding the toothpick or sprue a small model piece is attached to while airbrushing the piece. Usually ignored by the modeler as he goes about the rest of his day. Worn as a conversation starter and a badge of honor at the local hobby shop.

I must be exceptionally clumsy. I usually end up with an advanced case that has spread to multiple fingers.

Funny,but true

As a kid I had airbrusher’s nose. No mask/respirator, no spray booth back then. The used Kleenex tissues matched the tank perfectly!
