I’m researching the color schemes and markings of Luftwaffe aircraft based at Sidi Haneish/ Quasaba in Egypt during July 1942, specifically around the time of the SAS raid, and would appreciate any insights on the following aircraft and their respective units: Ju 87 D-3 Trop from Stab St.G.3, Bf 110 E-2 from St.G.3, Ju 87 R-4 from I./St.G. 3, Ju 87 R-2 from I./St.G. 3, Ju 87 D-1 from II./St.G. 3, Ju 88 C-6 from I./NJG 2, and Ju 52 (unspecified units).

This may not be exactly what you need, but if you’re not aware of it, asisbiz has lots of profiles. This is from a stuka from the appropriate unit around the right time and place, if not the exact plane…

hmmm, that link is labelled wrong but points to something from 42 in Libya…
