This will be the last solo posting of vehicles , everything from here on will be under one title and showcase the dio itself as I start putting everything together .
Damn hippies.
How was the kit?
Flashbacks of Santa Cruz.
Something a whole lot bigger than those rifles put those wounds in that Tyrannosaurus.
Very cool stuff.
Good Dan , good , just have to be careful when installing the engine , dry fit everything .
Also be careful installing the front panel it’s a tricky fit and if it’s off , it will screw up the alignment of everything else body wise down the road , dryfit ,dryfit .
I should have included this in my original post but only remembered it cuz you asked .
Thank you
Another good looking build Glenn. ![]()
“Damn Hippies”
LOL
Just more great work here Glenn, I love it!
Dave🙂
How did you do the flat tires?
Weapon 2010 , held em against the metal shade of a heat lamp , not all in one go though [ you’ll bend the rims ] , just long enough to then press the tire against a wood block to see if the plastic moved , Rinse and repeat ……………
Thank you Dan that had me laughing out loud!![]()
Glenn’s clearly a master of heat-treatment, unlike myself. I kept screwing up trying that, resorted to an alternative method – cut off the lower portion of tyre and sculpt a blob of putty into the desired shape. Takes much longer of course, using a bunch of fine sanding sticks…
Both look awsome , thanks for the tips , should have known the heat method
Do the surf boards come with the kit or did you make them?
