My personal guess would be that the Franch military didn’t repaint unless it was needed for camouflage reasons

The official “green” color used with French Army vehicles from the early 50’s to the late 80’s is called “vert IR OTAN” ( = Infra Red NATO green). It’s available from Hataka (HTK-C122)

That Studebaker 2½-ton looks close to Humbrol 155 to me

In this clip there is an M8 and a half-track which look more like the wartime olive drab
