Well, with the AMPS 2023 International Show from Camp Hill, PA, in the books, it’s time to gear up and take the AMPS 2024 International Show to South Bend, Indiana, April 11-13, 2024. The 2024 show theme is “1944”, as voted by the AMPS general membership at the 2023 AGM held in Camp Hill, PA. Clarification for the 2024 show theme will be announced and released soon.
Show Location/Facility: For those who had the opportunity to attend the AMPS Super Regional in August 2021, it’s a great place for an AMPS International Convention. While I was unable to attend, looking at the photos of the Super Regional at the Century Convention Center AMPS will be occupying, I’ve got to say it looks fantastic, complete with plenty of light and room. In my many years of attending AMPS International conventions, this one looks to be one of the very best.
AMPS recon team, er…show planners, have already identified 2 hotels for this event and reservations can be made on-line by going to the AMPS homepage at https://www.amps-armor.org. Make your reservations early before rooms fill up. We have less than 275 days before the show!

Doubletree by Hilton - this hotel is located across the street from the conference center and is connected to it via an enclosed bridge. The room rate is $149 per night, plus tax. On-Line Judges Training: It’s no secret that AMPS International Conventions require a lot of volunteers (especially judges) to help run the show and the more volunteers, the more smoothly the show runs. There are training modules for Field Judges, Diorama and Vignette Judges, Figure Judges, Ramrod Certification Training, Table Captain Certification Training and Assistant Chief Judge (ACJ) Certification Training.
