Greetings fellow armor modelers:
Some 11th hour important reminders as the AMPS 2026 International Convention is less than 30 days away.
Pre-registration:
Show Pre-registration: Pre-registration will go through April 12, 2026. You can pre-register through the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org) site and click on the “Register” menu while it remains open and active.
REMINDER: AMPS will not accept handwritten entry forms. If you don’t pre-register, you will need to register via one of two laptops that will be available on site at the registration desk. To avoid standing in line to register at the show, we highly recommend you pre-register. It’s important to note, that you don’t need to know which models you are bringing when you pre-register - you can add these to your registration and print out your forms up to the day of the show.
Online Judges Training: IMPORTANT FOR ALL AMPS MEMBERS
We are offering two Zoom sessions before the 2026 International Convention and also several opportunities during the convention. For the Zoom sessions, AMPS Chief Judge, Dave Vickers will conduct field judge training on the following dates and times.
Friday, 20 March, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM EST
Saturday, 21 March, 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST.
To participate, please email info@amps-armor.org with the subject line “AMPS field judge training” and which training session you want to attend. We’ll then email you the Zoom link.
If you can’t participate in one of those, please complete the training during the convention. You can check the times for the field judge training on the show site.
Category Sponsorships:
We are very close to having sponsor for all categories this year. Contact Frank Froment at the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org) to see the remaining categories needing a sponsor.
Raffle Donations:
The ever-popular AMPS raffle is still looking for doners to crawl through their stash and consider making a donation of kits, aftermarket items, conversion sets, figures, resource materials and tools to make this the best AMPS raffle yet. Items should be newer and unused. Proceeds go directly into the AMPS treasury to help finance future shows, Boresight and preservation projects. If you have donations for the raffle, contact Raffle Coordinator, Georg Eyerman at the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org) or bring them directly to the convention.
Visit the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org) often for news and updates and continue to watch for AMPS 2026 show announcements as the convention draws near.
Till the next AMPS Show update,
Model On!
