Okay fellow armor modelers,
We’ve got less than 2 weeks to go before we invade South Bend with hundreds of models, dioramas and figures for the 2026 AMPS International Convention. Below are last minute reminders before time runs out.
Pre-registration:
Show Pre-registration: Pre-registration will go through April 12, 2026. You can pre-register through the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org) site and click on the “Register” menu while it remains open and active.
REMINDER: AMPS will not accept handwritten entry forms. If you don’t pre-register, you will need to register via one of two laptops that will be available on site at the registration desk. To avoid standing in line to register at the show, we highly recommend you pre-register. It’s important to note, that you don’t need to know which models you are bringing when you pre-register - you can add these to your registration and print out your forms up to the day of the show.
Online Judges Training: AMPS has recently updated judging rules and guidelines that will be in effect starting with the 2026 Convention which means all AMPS judges, certified or not, eventually will need to take and become familiar with as soon as possible. If you haven’t taken the on-line AMPS Judges training offered on Zoom last month, there will be opportunities to take the new training at the show. In the meantime, the current Judging Modules on the AMPS homepage has been updated and can be accessed on the AMPS homepage (https://www.amps-armor.org)
Raffle Donations:
If you have any donations for the ever-popular AMPS raffle, feel free to bring them to the show. Kits, aftermarket items, conversion sets, figures, resource materials and tools are most welcome and will be enjoyed by the winners. Items should be newer and unused with proceeds go directly into the AMPS treasury to help finance future shows, Boresight and preservation projects.
