When comes an AMPS kit?

Those are certainly very cool and very needed but the Army has to buy it first. I’m afraid kits are a long time coming.

The Army has bought and is currently fielding the AMPV. I have not seen the ADA version, but there are 5 basic versions being fielded.

Hopefully, someone will do a kit soon.

I want to build them all! Plus the ADA, multi-role and anti-tank versions.

I wonder what will happen to the countless versions of the M113 FOV?

They will either be sold to other countries or turned into artificial reefs.

The Moog Air Defense turret is purchased for JLTVs and Strykers, but if it will be mated to the AMPVs is another matter.

The Moog Air Defense turret cannot carry Hellfires because as someone mentioned here, the Hellfire ATGMs cannot stand the ground vibrations from the mount (although I think there can be an engineering fix for that).

The Moog Air Defense turret seems to work, but if the US Army wants to dedicate AMPVs to the Moog turret is debatable when the General Dynamics TRX UGV can do the same.

Personally, I think that the AMPV Air Defense version has to carry more than just the Moog Air Defense turret, such as EW jammers, Android Roadrunner c-UAS launch boxes, c-UAS drones, etc. inside. That is a lot of AMPV interior space to dedicate to a remote weapon station like the Moog Air Defense turret.
