That’s well and good, but what we really need are I-H versions such as the M5. I’d rather see that.

I’m hoping these will avoid the minor problems with the Dragon kits, like the moulded-on jerrycan mounts. Though I agree an M5-series would be very welcome.

I am in for an M5. Canada used them instead of the M3’s and they have never been done in plastic.

If these have hard plastic tracks like the old Dragon models, I will purchase at least one set and possibly several.

So what is the difference between the M5 and the M3?

The quickest way to spot the M5 is the rounded corners in the rear as in my photo above, and the “flat” curved fenders (if that makes sense) like on the old Monogram kits.
Other less noticeable features are the gun ring fittings, the drive train, (transmission case shape and differential) and the fact that I-H used roll homogenous steel. Also differences in the frame cross members.
Exhaust shape was slightly different as well, but hard to notice.

M3 series by far. Many M5 (and M9) were for the Lend Lease program. I built my M5s as IDF vehicles.
