Anyone else make a purchase during this sale? Normally Andy’s ships out in a couple of days. I haven’t received any communication since my Memorial Day purchase.
I know they are good outfit, so I am a bit worried that maybe my order glitched somehow. Anyone else in a similar boat?
Andy’s sale was extremely big for them. Lots of stuff sold. Now two things are delaying your shipment, 1, they only have a small number of employees pulling and packing purchased items. And 2, they are switching over to a new computer inventory system and that is the top priority for the past few days. This afternoon routine operations should resume. Orders are pretty much packed and shipped in the order that they were received.
I don’t work for Andy’s directly, but alongside them for the partner business that is located in the same building.

Last week looked like Santa’s workshop at the North Pole before Christmas Eve with the amount of merchandise being packed and sent out. It was crazy. The switch over to the new computer system was just unfortunate timing. Trying to do both at the same time sort of snowballed the workload.
That makes me happy. Glad they are so busy! Me getting my kits fast is far less important than Andy’s business thriving
Yes his business and many other shops are thriving. Those who say the hobby is dying are quite mistaken. We fill plenty of orders for stores nationwide, and aside from a small slowdown for a few days, stores are doing plenty of business. At least with the merchandise that we carry.
For everyone else on here who ordered from Andy’s for the sale, or since then, the computer system changeover is finished and as of this morning orders are being filled. It’s gonna be some busy days ahead with all that
I guess I got really lucky. My order must’ve happened right before the cutoff with the inventory software change over. I Ordered first thing on that Memorial Day weekend on Saturday morning and got my stuff the following Thursday a week ago yesterday.
