Andy’s HHQ New Store in Tolleson

Today was the “Soft Opening” of the new Andy’s HHQ store in Tolleson. Let’s just say that the new store is much bigger than his original shop in Glendale (which will remain open for business)
The outside still lacks signage, so you have to know where you’re going for now, but that will be changed soon. Anyways, here are a few photos

and what I’m really jazzed about beside this being closer to home for me is that there is a meeting area to the left side when you come in where clubs can have their meetings. AZ AMPS will meet there in May on our usual second Saturday of the month.

They are not yet ready to open full time, as today a few bugs needing to be worked out were discovered, but stand by for when the “Grand Opening” will happen. If you’re in the Phoenix area, stop on by and check us out. If your in on a Monday, Tiesday, or Wednesday, stop in and say Hello, I’ll be working in the back on the partner business’ warehouse.

Tony, yes, very few other jobs would qualify to get me out of retirement. Like Joe Walsh sang, Life’s been good to me so far… But it does cut into my bench time

Greg, yes a new shop is always appreciated. And judging by the turnout for the soft opening, I think that this place will do well.

Matthew, yeah, what Brookhurst Hobbies is for the LA/OC area, this is gonna be for Phoenix. And considering how rapidly this area is growing, there is a good customer base.

Man, I grew up in the Tolleson area and went to high school at Tolleson. I live about 1100 miles away now. Wish I was closer. Good luck with the new store.
