" US Army announced the modernization of its Stryker Dragoon armored vehicles. As part of this update, the outdated Dragoon will be replaced by a new ICVVA1-30mm model. It is equipped with a 30-mm auto-cannon and a fire control system (MCWS), which will ensure high accuracy and an increased range of hitting targets."
The M1130 is the best AFV Club Stryker kit out there. Even if you’re building a “plain” M1126 Stryker IFV, the M1130 kit comes with all the parts you’d need for an M1126, PLUS updated antennas, some other accessories, and more photoetched parts. Plus, I’ve seen the (I’m assuming) less popular M1130 kit on sale, or at least selling for less than the M1126 kit. There are a few different part numbers, but a little research will find the instructions for the M1126. It’s definitely the way to go if you’re building a Stryker.
What makes them so much better than the Trumpeter Kits? I’m curious having built neither
M1126…
… like I said.
Having built AFV & Trumpeter, I think AFV kits are more detailed .
They are both easy to build , I will get a pretty good kit with Trumpeter.
PE & Plastic parts are more detailed, more options during the build .
But both brands have different versions,
Oh the Trumpeter Stryker kits range from underdetailed to horrendously bad. Having a few AFV Club Stryker kits, I bought a Trumpeter kit, looked at the parts, and sold it off at a loss the next day. The AFV Club kits are a light year ahead in detail and design. They make the Trumpeter kits look like they’ve been left out in the sun too long.
