Another WW2 PTO LVT (A) 2 diorama HIGHER GROUND

This was made very similar to my LVT (a) 1,

the figures are from mini art

Beautiful job Gaz. Great finish on that LVT and the ground work is excellent.
One question: was the interior of the LVT painted white?

I have not got a clue why I panted it white. Just thought I would be a little different. I guess it would be no good for any spotter air craft :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Just a habit of painting all my vehicle interiors white

I’m just asking because I’m not at all sure myself, I don’t know much about these LVTs.
I love the finish on the model, the camouflage job is great as well as the weathering ; and your groundwork is excellent too. A great little scene. Is that a bunker on one side of the base? Again great job!

Same deal with the plants Gaz ? and are they all aquarium ones ??

Yeah same plants from an aquarium apart from the moss foliage

I know I said it before, but it is such a stupidly simple yet brilliant idea … what you have done with them looks fantastic and totally realistic - something I will be doing for sure now :+1:

Looks great. I really like the bunker under the LVT. Great job on the base.

Unfortunately no. The cargo bay should be the same color as the outside of the Amtrak.

I can’t get over how big those things are! I don’t think I’d ever really cottoned onto the fact that they’re really tracked landing craft rather than something tank sized.

Another great scene!

Nicely executed diorama Gaz, nicely understated paint job on the Amtrak, and the ground/foliage is a work of art in its own right, :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:.

That looks awesome!

Looking good! /Erik
