Well the titel says it all , are there any decals on the market for the U.S. Berlin Brigade ? My searches have come up empty sofar.
If anyone can guide me in right direction , most appreciated.

None that Iâve seen. You can cobble them together from dry transfer sets or decals. It all depends on the time period youâre modeling as far as bumper codes go. âBBDEâ was only one of a few variants, and at times they were white, and later became black, You can always play it safe and simply tape over them or wrap sandbags around them. Thatâs what we did.
I happen to be working on another wall patrol jeep from when I did a few wall patrols. You actually had to interview in order to get to go.
Ah, fun times.
If you know what youâre doing re bumper codes etc, (I donât) then Perfect Scale Modellbau have a few sheets such as this one - and others; might be worth a look:
I guessed as much , ok Iâll be cobbleling them together then. ![]()
THX.
Which year?
That you on the 60 Robert? What year would that have been? Great pic
No, that is just some random dude. We werenât allowed cameras because they detracted from the mission. I used to hide an instamatic in a book, but - we werenât allowed books.
We had a pretty thorough shakedown before missions. The wall patrol photos that are out there are mostly the work of PAO.
Getty images might have the data for the photo - it would have to be in a narrow window -around â85 when we got the K pot - to maybe 87 or 88 when they got HMMWVâs. I did my patrols when our vehicles were set up like this, with bumper codes covered over.

Itâs always gratifying to know that the internet can back up exactly what I said. ![]()
Cool⌠I was in a first class of primary school in 1986âŚ
And when my friend restored an M38 Jeep some 20 years later we painted âBerlin Commandâ bumper codes on it - white on OD, period correct.
