Still “almost there” but one little bit further
!
Some more assembly to do (drop tanks and flaps among other things) and some weathering.

They look rather nice from a distance but there are, sadly, quite a lot of blemishes. Both build- and paint-related. I have come to realise that I am no true Mustang-guy, especially not when it comes to bubble-tops.
Enough complaining for now, I’ll be back in a week or so

They look pretty good to me, Magnus
@Russelle Thanks a lot! I’ll try to stop being grumpy then but since I turn 54 in April it gets harder and harder
!
My classic “almost there”-post! The only parts still on the loose are two, tiny, pitot tubes, one for each. Still some minor weathering and detail painting to do though.

Have a nice weekend!

@Russelle Sorry for being so late in responding, a skiing holiday came in the way and there has also been quite a bit of work lately. I’m very happy having an antipodean duplicate, this kind of equilibrium is most likely very beneficial for the world
!
So, two finished 1/72 wingy thingies, well inside my comfort zone…

Old Crow is of course part of my growing collection of Bud Anderson planes! Let’s see if we can find some more to do.
