I’ve never used them but I’ve also never heard complaints about them.

I love them. Definitely the best brushes I have ever used. I have both the S series and the D&M series. They are pricey but they still look brand new after being used for a year. Rinsing them after use with Artis Opus products is just a dream.

PS. After I bought them I was told you could get similar quality from Rosemary & Co. brushes, which reportedly are the manufacturer. If this is true? I do not know.

Yes, I heard that Rosemary & Co. is a very good substitute for Artis Opus. If you buy individual brushes, then I highly recommend that you buy the ArtBin brush box available on Amazon.com.

I wanted to buy Artis Opus for Christmas a couple of years ago; however, I have Broken Toad paintbrushes when they used to sell them. Somehow, United Kingdom seems to sell the best brushes…

It’s the Kolinsky sable hair brushes that you want. My brushes have lasted me years for figure painting and they’re still in excellent condition with Masters Brush Soap, also on Amazon.com.
