Jetzt mal im Ernst, der Preis ist eigentlich korrekt. Der Kurs ist meiner Meinung nach 1:20. Du musst froh sein, das du den Bausatz noch zu kaufen bekommst. Ich suche krampfhaft das Modell vom MT-55A Brückenleger und habe keine Chance das Modell zu erwerben. Eventuell hilft mir hier jemand.

I’ll continue with some detailed pictures of the BREM-1. They might be helpful to some modelers in building the model. It’s questionable whether Trumpeter’s assembly instructions correctly indicate all the parts’ positions.

der Preis geht sicher in Ordnung. Nur hab ich leider zuviele solcher “Hochpreismodelle” auf meiner LIste. 
Hast Du schon mal dfran gedacht, bei Panzershop anzufragen, ob das Modell noch produziert wird? Wär doch schön, wenn mehr Hersteller solche Fahrzeuge aus der UdSSR in Spritzguss herausbringen würden.

I think- with your scratchbuilding skills, building one from scratch won’t be a big challenge.
I did so with the BLG-60M2 6 years ago and I’m not half that good as you!

Klar sind 95Euro auch viel Geld und du musst noch die Versandkosten dazu rechnen. Heute gibt es viele Spritzgusshersteller, da liegen die Preise auch über 100 Euro. Der Modellbau ist die letzten Jahre, wie alles Andere auch, sehr teuer geworden. Die Spritzgusshersteller werden an Modellen, wie wir sie hier in der letzten Zeit besprochen haben, kein Interesse darann haben. Die wollen weltweit Kampffahrzeuge verkaufen.

Yes, you’re right, you could build the model yourself. But right now, I’m not really interested in the big projects. You’re also an experienced and skilled model maker, so you know how time-consuming it is. Have you shown the BLG-60 here before? That would be an interesting topic. By the way, you can buy the BLG-60 as a 3D model now. The price is, I think, 195 euros. I can show you a picture of it. I saw a picture of the T-62 Bulgarian Army in a thread here. Thank you very much for that. I have almost no pictures of the Bulgarian Army T-62. I only know of one picture from the Waffenbrüderschaft 70 exercise, where this tank can be seen.

Mal so zur Info. Ich hab gerade diese Zeichnung vom BLG 60 gefunden. Außerdem gibt es die Vorschrift auf ebay. Seh ich da einen Eigenbau am Horizont?

Nein Hans-Hermann, dieses Modell werde ich mit Sicherheit nicht bauen, da es
nicht in meine Sammlung passt. Dieses Fahrzeug wurde in der GSSD nicht verwendet. Die hatten MTU-12, MTU-20 und MT-55A. Aber hier mal ein Bild vom Bausatz BLG-60. Erhältlich bei Modellbau König.

Dürfte ein interessanter Bau werden, da die Brücke aus vorgeschnittenen (lasergeschnittenen?) Teilen zusammengebaut werden soll… Ich muss noch irgendwo einen T-55 Bausatz liegen haben…

Sweden bought all of the remaining BLG-60 and renovated them to be used
for our Leopard tanks (too heavy for our existing bridges).

I think the GSSD used the MT-55
The BLG-60 inherited the chassis from the MT-55 and the GDR designed & produced a new bridge.
Before the BLG-60 there was the MTU 54

Since we’ve strayed too far from the topic in this post about the BREM-1 model with the bridge-laying vehicles, I’ve decided to start this topic here next. This topic is too extensive to cover here. Regarding Hans-Hermann’s question, I’ve already written about what the GSSD used. Robin, if you disagree, post a picture of a BLG in the GSSD.

Another vehicle worth mentioning in this context is the BREM-1, the BREM-1M. This version is also available as a kit from Trumpeter. These two vehicles are easily recognizable by their different tracks. There shouldn’t be any significant differences in the sprues in the kits. Since this vehicle was not part of the GSSD’s inventory, I don’t have this kit in my collection. Here’s a picture of the kit.
