And stowage racks on turret and hull rear? Could the gun be build from the Academy K9 kit by just adding the protection kit?

Not sure. I think there’s a bit of work, but I’m not familiar enough with the base K9 to know the difference between it & the AS9.

Academy makes the K9 S. Korean Howitzer. As far as I know, there is no kit of the K10 Ammo Supply Vehicle nor any Aussie upgrades for them.

Just comparing pics of the two, apart from the add on armour, there is actually a lot more work to convert the Academy Kit. The hull is quite different. The very obvious things are the taller hull sides on the AS9, the AS( front hull roof slopes roght up to the Turret roof, whereas the kit has a distinct step (I presume that means the Academy section won’t fit), head light clusters, Gun mounting to turret, etc.

Academy also do the A1 variant which the Aussie AS9’s are based on

The A1 kit just comes with an extra sprue with some upgraded turret fittings like the rear plate, baskets, tools and jerry cans, etc. For the hull it gives you new outer road wheels and headlight guards for the on top of hull light assembly and so forth, but it does not address the main differences in hulls.
