Take that up with your clueless leader, as he sets the import fees!
Tasca/Asuka doesn’t offer the proper M4 upper hull that the M4(105) requires-it’s more like a M4A3 upper hulll with a different rear end on it
True, you get an A3 hull and have to alter the rear plate angle. The front of the hull is identical, but the rear wall is at a steeper angle and is a different shape. But a little trimming and cutting a replacement wall from Evergreen is a whole lot easier than wrestling with a Dragon kit! The M4 engine deck and lower hull rear wall just drop into place and are available as separate sprues from the Asuka webshop.
Of course if we wait a while I’m sure Asuka will put all those parts in a box and market it as an M4(105mm)…
“I did not enjoy the Taska Luchs but that dates from the early 2000s.”
What did you not like about this kit? I have it in my stash and it’s moving to the top. The tracks kinda suck, but I got some 3D tool clamps, and PE stowage bin clasps to improve the plastic parts. The surface detail (with the exception of tool clamps, and clasps) appear correct and crisp. Is there anything else I should know about?

I forgot to add that even though periscope guards are present, there are no perisopes, either in clear, or solid, styrene - a bit of a bummer, but I have some PE periscopes left over from another project that I can insert.
