I have 1/72 decals from ILIAD for Stars In The Sky and it has Jimmy Stewarts’ B-24H "Nine Yanks And a Jerk ". I want to use Academy’s 1/72 B-24H kit and need to know what turrets and windows or domes it had or did not have. Thanks for any information. 4
Would be interesting to know the answer to this. I’ve got their other sheet for ‘Male Call’, another he flew. I’ve got the new Airfix Liberator for that.
You can download the kit instructions to see what’s in the box…

I have the instructions, I am looking for specific information the instructions don’t give, different blocks of the same type plane had different options, such as windows, turrets, engines, antennas, etc. I am not even sure if this particular model of the H had the ball turret or a plate covering it if it did not have it installed. 4
Nine Yanks And a Jerk crew included a ball turret gunner…

Other serial numbers of the same block B-24H-1-CF 41-29116 thru 41-29187. These were Consolidated at Fort Worth built.
You can also research/request MACR 3829 for the crash report on Apr 12, 1944.
