I’m very much excited about this book, does it contain any pictures of the modified T-26 chassis barrel transporter?

The „T-26 barrel transporter“ is called B-29 and there is a whole chapter on it including photos and factory drawings adapted to 1/35 scale.

What a terrific reference source; undoubtedly very useful when building the Trumpeter kit that came out some years back.

I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one. Always wanted to build that Trumpeter kit, but with the book covering some oddities never seen in plastic, it’s even more interesting to me.
