I drove out that way many times on my way to visit my ex brother in law. He lived in Palmyra NY and I traveled from the Berkshires in MA. Nice ride till my brother in law introduced me to “the Can Of Worms”.
There was a nice F-86A at a VFW not far from him near the Finger Lakes where I camped.Went to a great air show out that way in the early 2000s at a giant grass field with lotsa Lancasters, Spitfires, Hurricanes andT6 Texans.

I know that aircraft pretty well. I was stationed at Griff when they parked that thing in its spot. Even got to climb up into the cockpit. Good luck with the build.
