Good luck with the move, John…

Watching with interest when the build resumes…

Thanks to everyone. We have a new home secured back up North in New England, finally get back into fly tying along with fly fishing and a bit of model making. Florida is nice if you wanna be a couch potato or hang at the beach. I grew up hiking the Appalachian Mountains, skiied the slopes in the winter, snow mobiled, ice fished for Pike and Muskie, fly fished cold rivers and streams for trout and salmon. I have done NOTHING in 12 years of retirement except try to figure out an escape and dodged 7 hurricanes. That is very stressful, much rather shovel snow!

I heartily concur.

The beach is great for a vacation, but I want to DO things. But to each his own—that’s why they call it “retirement!”

I got to do one more spray job then the paint booth was taken down. I did the IJN dark green and will do the brown mottled spots when I get to my new house sometime later this summer, I hope. Off to finish packing my paints.

I finally found a 1/72 Fujimi D3A1 Val in a shop in Canada and purchased it and it has arrived with no extra $$$ required just the usual shipping which went smoothly by Canadian Post to U.S.A. This is already packed and ready for the trip up north next month.
