Just happened to find this page while looking for a picture of the Japanese “rock tank” in Iwo Jima. There are some interesting photographs. The last two are interesting and the author has asked if anyone knows what the subjects in the photographs are.

The mystery vehicle in Photo #2 is the swamp vehicle “FB”. It was introduced in 1935 and over 100 were built, used as a simple supply carrier. It was of course meant for traversing swamps and was also fully amphibious.
