A little twist on an X-Wing. I’ve seen guys painting WW2 warbirds in Star Wars “what if” schemes so I went a little different. X-Wing from the USS Roosevelt circa Vietnam VF-84. Cause sometimes at the bench you need to have a little fun and good off and let your imagination run a bit.

I’ve seen quite a few artwork examples, like this VF-2 X-Wing, but I haven’t seen many of these done as actual models; it’s good to see fantasy schemes coming off the page and appearing in showcases.
