Banshee colors

What colors were the A-24s that saw action in DEI and New Guinea at the start of the war? Info I am finding is the first 78 were USN colors. They were first received in June 41. Would all have been USN Blue Grey? Would they have been repainted OD prior to shipment to the PI (DEI/ New Guinea)? Some photos I have found of aircraft of that time frame look dark, so I’m thinking they were repainted. Also, what color for the interior of the dive flaps? from what I read early ones (SBD and A-24) where not red. (Also , red shows as black in B&W photos.) Upper color or lower color?

I saw red on the inside of the dive flap/brakes in color photos.

I think most were red (contrast to visually confirm they were open). But I read somewhere the early production ones were same as the exterior color. (aluminum for the “yellow wing” USMC -1s?) When did they red come in and were previous builds “retrofitted”? Red usually shows as black/ dark grey in B&W photos. I’m thinking these might be Neutral Grey.
