WASHES

Just a note. When he says use a small brush, he said so because you want the most control of where and how much is applied. Less is better. He said it saved problems when it is clean up time and he is right. You want the second portion to be a blending activity and not a scrub off the excess activity. I could tell you how I know this, but You would just laugh at me. Applying wash to a detailed kit will take time. It is not a 10 minute activity. It could be a half day activity. Do not wait too long to do the second part. I apply the wash and 5 minutes later I am blending the same area. The longer it sets the more difficult to blend. If you start to soon, your wash becomes a filter. If the wash is not dramatic try a second coat. Like spray painting, several thinner coats are better than a thick heavy coat.
