This museum is located at the (in)famous crossroads where, during the Ardennes Offensive AKA Battle of the Bulge, US soldiers of the 285th Field Artilley Battalion were captured by Kampfguppe Peiper. 84 of them were slaughtered without any any process. This war crime caused the US soldiers, after hearing of the attrition, to harden their stance against the Germans in general and the SS in particular and might have caused to lead to the eventual victory of the allies in a shorter term than would have been the cause if it did not occur. Outside the building is a memorial, while inside, spread out over 2 floors and more than 1000 Square metres, a lot of authentic material such as vehicles, uniforms, weapons, pictures , etc can be found.
