How was electric power supplied ?

batteries and or generator driven by revolving truck axle

Maybe a dumb question but were the toilets really out in the open like that or perhaps the restore team hadn’t gotten around to building the standard divider (wall, curtain, etc.). I mean this thing didnt operate that long ago as i was a kid during much of that era and most work and public toliets had some kind of privacy…

Don’t know about cabeese, but Southern were infamous for buying diesels without the toilet fitted in the nose like other railroads. Instead, drivers were given plastic bags to use as best they could…

Is that toilet fixed in place, or just standing loose awaiting proper installation?
