More research I do the more confused I get. Some cowls have little bumps, some dont. Appears some have vents(?) above the exhaust pipe, some no. Some have large air intakes, some small. I presume there is some connection with engine model. What opinions go with which Mks? Or is it a case of having to find a photo of the exact aircraft you are building.

O.K… Mia culpa. Those vents I thought were above the exhaust are actually on the bottom. (Was looking at the model part the wrong way. 
) As for the intakes … Little = standard, big = tropical filters? (If so, how long before they were fitted? Doing a 89 Sqn, mid-late 42ish. DarkEarth/ Mid.Stone/black. ) The bumps are still a mystery.
