Buttar is an excellent writer. His series on Ukraine in ‘43-’44 is awesome and his book on WW1 eastern front as the Russian civil war is starting to emerge is great also. If you read it please share your impressions….

His book ‘Battleground East Prussia: The Assault on Germany’s Eastern Front 1944-45’ is genuinely one of the best books I’ve ever read, even outside the WW2 genre. It’s also a phenomenal audio listen and is on Audible/Audiobooks. Makes for supremely good listen while driving or building models.
