I’m looking for consensus on what is the best after market.50 cal of the Vietnam era.

The Academy U.S. Machine Gun Set (13265) is pretty nice as well. It does not include flash suppressors though. It does have separate charging handles, open breech covers, ammo cans and other accessories.
AFV Club also does a very nice set, U.S. M2HB .50 Cal Machine Gun Set (35246). It also includes separate charging handles, breech covers, and does come with flash suppressors and a bunch of accessories and options.

Master has several models of M2 3D printed with metal barrel, excellent quality (although I am not sure if they are suitable for Vietnam).

My first recommendation is Master Metal GM-35-062 or GM-35-063 or GM-35-064 depending on your use but you have to add ammo box since they come with WWII ammo box. My next recommendation is AFV Club AF35246 since you can build it with tripod or vehicle mounted right out of the box.

Those guns are the best I’ve seen thus far. Unfortunately,I do not do social media, so if Facebook is the only option I’m out of luck. Still, I truly appreciate you bringing them to my attention.
I agree about social media, not social at all most are just self indulgent twats but the modelling sites I visit are worth the cost of admission, I reckon it worth the sign up just to contact him.

Additionally from Jason: I like to talk to my customers about their model and help as much as I can. Even sending them to someone else if needed. A website takes that away and just becomes a shop.

I’m not sure why he can’t do both. I communicate with Bao of B&L in Vietnam via WhatsApp, but order from his website.
