Hey all! Title says it all, I’m looking for some good books and references on the Aussies in Vietnam. Anything that covers the RAR would be a great place to start. I’m also interested in the Centurions and M113s fielded by the RAAC. I’ve done some scanning on Amazon and the like and not much seems to come up.

that is a very good book,picked it up at a model show,its my main book of reference for aussie vietnam builds.
Talking about Aussie M113’s this one is great
but you may have a hard time finding it as it’s OOP. You can still find some second hand specimen

That is not a Vietnam Era AFV Malcolm. The Aussies used the Fire Support Vehicle (FSV), which was a M113A1 fitted with a Saladin Turret, in 'Nam.
The MRV (Medium Reconnaissance Vehicle) was a post 'Nam replacement for the FSV. It was the M113A1 fitted with a Scorpion turret.

You could also try the relevant Units’ Associations eg. 1AMD, 3 CAV, 1RAR (which had an attachment from 4/19 PoW Lt Horse - you could even try 4/19). There was also a M113 SQN attachment to the ATF in VietNam.
