I have the older Tamiya kit Ardennes as well as the HobbyBoss, in your opinion which is the best kit. I love Tamiya’s ease of assembly for sure. Thanks
Takom and Meng both do really nice kits, Takom do kits with or without interiors and do a version with Zimm and one without. The Meng kit is said to have better detail overall with a better representation of the armour finish, but both brands do superb kits which are superior to the Tamiys kit which is old and pretty basic!
I have the Meng. Great kit. It needs a simple fix before assembly. The hull has holes in the side for the torsion bars. Inside the hull is an interior part that has the same holes and is glued inside the hull. This part sits too high. Just sand the bottom of it down until the hull holes, and the interior part holes line up. Done. Very simple fix. This is a kit I can recommend. It is even Wade approved.

RFM have also recently announced a Production (aka Henschel) turret Tiger II kit which looks quite good too
