Long ago I uses Squadrons Green Stuff putty to make Zimm with. The world has changed. What would recommend? I have a Panther in mind.
Best tool to use? In the past I used a modified Xacto blade. There has to be a better tool by now.

Lots of different options companies like Trumpeter, ET model, Royal Model make different types of tools that can be used.
A company like ATAK makes zimmerit sheets. They even have one for the Tamiya kit.
I donāt have or used any of these but some of the options out there.

I am working on the Great Ones campaign and wanted to do the zimm āold schoolā.
I use MIlliput, Rick Lawler uses Apoxie:
And Martin Kovacs uses Tamiya epoxy:
Seems that two part epoxy, slow curing, is the way to goā¦
As for tools, I have an old set of Lion Roar but have read that Trumpeter set is quite accurate, despite made of plastic.
