Ryan, looks good from the pictures. Seems you made a good save.

Thanks.

I agree, I have selected another Takom kit. Not sure it will be any easier. :face_with_spiral_eyes: Will make a post later.

Hey guys, those all look great! And it looks like we have a clean sweep of finished models. Sorry I was silent but I was away at a conference this week without the laptop - only got back this afternoon. I’ll get the details off to Jim for the awards!

Now the US Army’s M10 Booker can be used in the build!

Seriously? They cancelled it? What a waste of R&D money. (Shades of Sgt York all over again…)

Can’t wait to see a whole squadron of them in BTTNW4…

Just like the M8.

“Light Tank” must be the most over thought idea in the history of the modern United States Army. It’s like a bunch of women arguing about the best way to make a cake.

Design by committee - hardly ever works(!)

I always thought the T92 Light Tank looked interesting - 'would still love one in 1/35.

40 tons airmobile?

Seems like the new PUMA IFV and many other already in production vehicles would have better met the mission requirements.

The T-72 & T-80 are close to the same weight as the M10 Booker.

Yes, please!

A Sherman tank would better meet the mission requirements!

(I am being super snarky and know the mission requirements are complicated.)

Too funny! M4 Sherman w/105 has it covered w/new radio, laser range finder, gps & thermal sights…wink.

That whole contract bit that only the manufacturer of the vehicle had the right to do maintenance and repair the vehicle was a level of unnecessary idiocy that’s beyond belief .

If the US Army buys it, the Army should be able to maintain and service the vehicle.

I just found this, in a moment of sheer idleness and casual Googling; it’s in 1/72 but we can but hope:

I had the exact same reaction. The entire chain of government employed people in on that decision should be fired. Instead, they will be promoted!

How about the using the Stryker MGS? Drive them off the back of a 130 and get to work.
The MGS is another failed program. I know it wasn’t the best but they could have spent more money in redesigning the turret.
