One of JG 54’s many camouflage schemes. This time it is a very dated work, which I thought was a fake from a camouflage point of view, until very recently some photos appeared which confirm this livery. It is a Bf109 G-2 (G-6 kit modified) of Stab III/JG 54, operating from Rjelbitzy in July 1942. The colors used are RLM 70, 79 and 76 Gloy, plus a light Humbrol green (mixes Humbrol Enamels); the decals are Aeromaster. Model completed in 2000.
