Trying to contact Black Dog. Sent a couple messages via their website. No joy. Want to see if a direct e-mail gets a better reponse. Trying to see if I can get the parachute packs , etc from their bomber crew set for a project. (the figures are standing. I need seated. ) Planning on a CCKW auling a crew to the plane .

Just a thought: they seem easy enough to knock up in Milliput or Magic Sculp I would have thought. You’ve got the originals to use as a guide, why not have a go? It’ll probably save you a lot of grief with Black Dog as well.
Tamiya tape or lead foil would provide the strapping. Job done!

Yeah, thought that was a Steady-breaker fender. Have seen a couple of crew sets. One is the infamous staged crew standing in front of the plane for a crew photo ( complete with the photographer) Other is the PR photo ,crew doing the macho walk to the plane. Niether are conducive to the “riding the six-by” scenario. Legend sets are running about $75 (+ shipping) and this set does not have all the life vests/ para-harnesses. (photos seem to show them all kitted up) ICM makes 2 sets that look like they will work.(with a bit of tweeking.) Just need the chutes & other packs. (Side bar: Did waist gunners bring their .50 cals. out or did armorers have them pre set up? I’d think later.)
Was thinking about that but with one eye and iffy depth perseption…
