Black Ops, northern Italy -43

Thanks I have some :joy: of that.

Okey I finished my little knight-vignette in 1/72.
I named it “Battle of Kyiv 1240”
It’s no masterpiece, every detail could have been made better. But in this case I just wanted to finish it, show the message of good and evil, and after that go back to Black Ops.
Cheers

Here is with some other figures just for fun.

Thanks guys!
Well, Black Ops is on hold for some time, I have to finish my other Ukrainian project in 1/35.
Tonight I painted second face and uniform details. I will go for a try and paint camouflage pattern on the trousers.

After painting some knights, they are not ready, and a figure for an 11 years old boy, I got back to ww2 and my Italian scenery.
I made another cypress. One more to build. Cheers

Thanks a lot guys!
I have worked on the pine tree, I have put air drying clay on the trunk to get it larger. I hope it’s dry tomorrow.

That dio groundwork and the cypress trees look outstanding Erik. Its a great scene and has a real feel for wild un-kept vegetation. great mixture of colours.

The new pine tree looks equally good as well. Really like the trunk work and how the top canopy spreads out. Terrific :+1:

Thanks guys!
I did a ruff mockup to a friend who is lack of ideas right now. I hope he does something of it because I like it. Otherwise I keep the idea to a project later on.
It actually works in both 1/72, 1/48 and 1/35.
Take care my friends!

This idea of doing an almost complete mock up before gives a great idea to the finished look, and how it will all tie in together. lets you see it from all angles and any possible issues you may encounter - good plan.

And as you say John, a lot of interesting angles. /Erik

I was inspired of the other mockup I did. Therefore I did one more, it’s showing a scenery I have been thinking of for some time.
The real set up of the figures and vehicle I keep for my self for a while. It will be unique and spectacular for being in 1/72. Now I just placed some figures and a vehicle as an illustration.
I hope my pictures are inspiring for someone.

Another bit of clever magic Erik. Just a mock up looks great, and I am sure it will inspire others… And you prove again that this small scale can really show great things :+1::+1:
