It always amuses me that Apocalypse survivors, if female, seem to have huge problems finding clothes, something that doesn’t seem to affect males. If you had survived a zombie Apocalypse I’d suggest some sort of armour to resist bites would be de rigeur…?
The ‘bikini armor’ trope applies here - notice that few if any zombie apocalypse media takes place outside of warm environments? Attractive young women in tight (and unrealistic) clothing means viewers.
…which is one of the reasons that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is so refreshing. 
Should be 1/24-1/25 so you can use them with modern car kits.
I agree, these figures are usually a teenage boy’s wet dream.
The first figure isn’t too unrealistic though. She is realistically clothed in my opinion. Unfortunately, she is a minority in the genre.
I guess the skimpy clothing option harks back to the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” days where Lara wore nothing more than a tank top, shorts, and boots.
I do wonder how popular Post-Apocalyptic figures and this subject is nowadays, when there are so many video games, fantasy Dungeons and Dragons, Anime, movies, etc. to be produced as figures.
I’ve noticed that most of the figures are poor…there are no Kingpins, rich bosses, or gang leaders. There are just “Street thugs” duking it out on the streets with hardly any loyalties to higher-ranking bosses. There should be a higher chain-of-command that just isn’t represented in the Post-Apocalyptic model figure world.
I’ve also noticed that many of the figures’ weapons are decidedly Russian…none of the latest and greatest guns such as the 5.56mm HK416, 7.62mm SCAR-H, 5.56mm SCAR-L. various caliber FN EVOLYS lightweight machine gun, 7.62mm M110, Benelli M4 shotgun, etc. A lot of the US Military weapons do have a civilian counterpart for sale in those states that sell them. Americans aren’t always poor when it comes to outfitting their guns with extended magazines, scopes, rails, barrel accessories, handgrips, etc. Surely some of the civilian weapons are even better “tricked out” than those of U.S. Law Enforcement and even the U.S. military, and surely some of the “fancier weapons” should have survived in the dystopian world.
